Find a Specialist Tutor

A young boy and a woman are sitting at a table, smiling at each other while drawing with markers. The boy is wearing a yellow shirt and the woman is wearing a blue denim shirt. They are in a cozy room with a brick wall and a guitar in the background.

Queen’s Park Learning is a London-based agency of specialist one-on-one tutors.

We represent established tutors who have already built strong reputations, not just for achieving excellent academic results, but for helping students develop confidence, self-belief, and lifelong skills that support them both in education and beyond.

The Tutors at Queen’s Park Learning have developed specialist expertise in particular subjects and some in working with children with specific needs. Through years working within the school system, they recognise the gaps that children can fall through in mainstream education and understand first-hand how transformative the right one-to-one support can be.

Experienced educators know that meaningful progress begins with trust and connection. That is why we carefully match every family with the tutor best suited to their child’s personality, learning style, and needs.

SEND Support at Queen’s Park Learning

At Queen’s Park Learning we also specialize in SEND support, as a number of our Tutors are highly skilled SEND practitioners, offering tailored tutoring for children with additional needs, including: ASD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, ADHD.

We understand many kids need a different path to learning, and how stressful and overwhelming the process of securing additional support can be, so we now offer a SEND Consultation Service for Families who are just beginning the EHCP application process, or if hours/ funding is already in place. Our SEND consultant can create a roadmap for the family, guiding communication with the Local Authority and School, and help to secure an LA approved Tutor.

Tutors at Queen’s Park are thoroughly vetted, experienced educators, DBS-checked, and with expert knowledge of the curriculum and school pathways.

How it Works:

Most of our tutors teach in person one-on-one in your home or a neutral space like a library or school. Our network currently covers NW / W and central London. Online lessons are sometimes an option for secondary school age and above, and some families use our safe online classroom to continue their child’s sessions while traveling.

Fees:

All tutors at Queen’s Park Learning are independent, self-employed practitioners, with a wide range of experience and specialist expertise. Therefore Lesson fees range from £65–£120 per hour, depending on the Tutor.

Trial lesson:

We treat the first lesson as a no commitment trial for you and your child to settle in with the tutor and make sure everything feels right. We call you to follow up to see how everything went, and you are free to choose to continue or not.
